Since 1882, Stagleap has been farmed by 5 generations in the Salmo Valley.
Like most farms, at one time people produced nearly everything they would need to eat and feed to their own animals. We seem to be going full circle back to that food system. Besides a garden and livestock (cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks), we have recently started to once again grow grains and pulses. We have honey bees as well.
Our crops include barley, hull-less oats, peas, rye, wheat, red fife, buckwheat and straw.
We grow without herbicides, pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and gmo seeds!! We are Spray-Free!
